At 5 p.m., the trio walked into the store in the 5800 block of Glades Road and executed their plan.
Feliciano, 42, of Pembroke Pines, diverted a Victoria’s Secret sales associate to the left of the store, while 25-year-old Herrera and 22-year-old Torreira, of Miami Gardens, headed right, stuffing bras into a yellow “booster” bag.
They then left the store, unaware that the company’s loss prevention manager had been watching them on surveillance video.
The manager called police, watching Torreira and Herrera drive away in a black Nissan Sentra while Feliciano left in a white Cadillac Escalade.
Detectives found the trio at a nearby gas station.
Torreira refused to speak with investigators, but Herrera admitted the group walked into the store with intentions to steal.
He also confessed to two previous crimes — one on May 25 and another on July 19 — in which he and Feliciano, his aunt, stole lingerie from the same Victoria’s Secret store.
Searching the Sentra, detectives found more than $9,000 in stolen lingerie from each of the three crimes.
Herrera told police he had been selling the items to friends and family to pay bills and feed his family.
The trio stands charged of grand theft, but police charged Feliciano and Herrera with two additional counts retail theft for the two earlier crimes.
The mall’s popular lingerie store has been no stranger to purloined panties.
On Feb. 27, police arrested 29-year-old Tysheka Pink and 39-year-old Katina Summers on charges they stole hundreds of bras and panties worth more than $34,000 from the Victoria’s Secret stores in Boca Raton and Boynton Beach.
Nine days after the duo’s arrest, two unidentified women walked into the Boca Raton store and stole 600 panties worth $6,300.
