At the Lengberg Castle in East Tyrol, an archeological discovery is rewriting the history of underwear. Until now, common consensus was that bras were first worn around a hundred years ago.

However, an unexpected unearthing shows that women were sporting brassieres as long ago as the 15th and 16th centuries, meaning women in the middle ages were more clued up about their unmentionables than people originally thought.
