STORY:
In 1795, Josette trafficked with her father, Andre DuPres, from Martinique to marry Barnabas Collins. Her aunt, Countess Natalie DuPres, and her maid, Angelique, arrived a few days prior. Angelique was indeed a magician who had enjoyed a prior hurl with Barnabas behind in Martinique, and was really many in adore with him. She designed to destroy a couple’s intrigue and placed a spell on Josette, causing her to tumble hopelessly in adore with Jeremiah Collins.  Josette eventually fell to her genocide during Widows’ Hill in one of a many noted scenes in a show’s history.

IMPACT:
The impact of a strange DARK SHADOWS array is good documented with a cult following, annual fan conventions and countless reincarnations.  No other soap had as many integrate combinations deliberate as this one.  Some fans desired a definite chemistry of Barnabas Angelique, others desired a some-more intelligent attribute Barnabas had with Julia.  But Barnabas Josette were a many comfortless integrate of a series.  The story has been revisited in audio dramas, comic books, primetime radio and, this year, a large bill film starring Johnny Depp, with Bella Heathcote personification Josette/Victoria Winters.
