A car struck several pedestrians, including a pregnant woman, during a crash at a block party in Philadelphia Monday, authorities said.
The car hit the bystanders a block apart around 4 p.m. and at least eight people were believed to be seriously injured, ABC6 reported.
Three other victims were being treated at the scene. Four women, whose ages range between 57 to 94, were taken to nearby hospitals, according to the station.
A 21-year-old pregnant woman was among the injured and also taken to a hospital, police said.

A female driver tried going around a crowd of people and claimed her brakes had failed, according to the station.
The driver was being questioned by cops at the crash site, but no arrests have been made, KYW-TV reported.
The crash is being investigated by police.
