Woman spots peeping Tom, police find bag of sex toys in yard

FRANLKIN, Ind. – Police are searching for a peeping Tom after a young woman caught a man peering through her bedroom window in Franklin.
It happened at the Green Acre Apartments around 1 am Sunday.
19-year-old Olivia Warren said she had just gotten home from a friend’s house and was getting ready for bed when her cat began growling at the window.
She took a look at the window and saw a face staring back at her.
“We were literally inches away from each other. I just see his glasses and I see the reflection from his eyes. The second that I saw his face starting to come into my window, I just bolted out my door,” she recalled. “I felt violated.”
She screamed and ran into the living room where she told her parents what she saw. Her dad, Dallas Warren, ran outside.
“Heard a dodge diesel fire up at the end of the building and he took off with his lights off and everything heading towards 31,” he said. “If I would’ve caught him, God help him.”
The peeping Tom got away, but he may have left behind a clue. Police found a Priscilla’s shopping bag in the front yard. It was full of sex toys, lingerie, an adult movie, and a gift box of rose petals and candles.
Franklin police are hoping the items will lead them to the suspect.
“Detectives are working with the business to try to track backwards who purchased the items that were found in the plastic bag in the yard,” said Deputy Chief Chris Tennell.
Meantime, the suspect description is vague. Olivia said she saw a white man with dark short hair and rectangle shaped glasses without a frame. He did not have any facial hair and may have had a smaller build.
Dallas Warren said a neighbor told him she had been hearing a diesel truck outside her apartment for weeks now and her cat was also acting aggressive towards the back door.
“He’s been creeping for a couple of weeks now,” thought Dallas Warren.
Until the Peeping Tom is caught, Warren wants the suspect to know one thing: Don’t mess with his daughter again.
“If he ever shows up again and I catch him, he’s a dead (expletive).”
