Gives the phrase “dress to impress” a whole new meaning…

Lacey lingerie is hardly a new invention — it’s been driving people wild for quite some time — so it might seem a little difficult to shake things up. Sure you could use a cat motif or even a “gift-wrapped” motif, but maybe you want more of an edge on your sexy underoos. Maybe something a bit more bondage-y. If so, Parfaite is the brand you’ve been looking for!

The brand is a relatively new entry in the “sexy clothes” market, but they’ve already made a big splash thanks to their crowdfunding campaign, which has doubled its initial goal of 500,000 yen (about US$4,220) since it started on January 23. With 43 more days left in the campaign, we suspect they may well end up tripling or even quadrupling that monetary goal.

▼ Because who doesn’t love lace?

So, what exactly is on offer via this campaign? Well, as you might have guessed, there is a lot of bondage-themed lingerie to be had! Sadly, it looks like they’ve already completely sold out of their fancy panties and bras — but there are some other options that may grab your attention. For example, lower tiers can get downloadable photos, a photo collection, or even one of the heart lock garters, of which there are only 13 left at the time of this writing. You can also snag an invitation to their “Lace Limitation” event to be held during this Golden Week, though space is limited.

Developed and produced by Narumi Lain, a cosplayer and model, Parfaite has thus far been described as “fetish cute,” which is a bit on the nose but also impossible to argue with. It seems that the idea was to create accessories and lingerie that mix bondage and pop…and we have to admit that it works better than we would have expected.

In addition to the lock and garters mentioned above, which is the “accessory” part of Parfaite’s lineup, they also have “Race Limitation,” which seems to be a misspelling of “Lace Limitation.” (To be fair, “race” and “lace” are both レース/”reesu” in Japanese, so it’s easy to mix up.) The concept here is, as you probably guessed, basically “being bound in lace.” We imagine most English speakers wouldn’t use “limitation” to mean “bound,” but it’s not strictly wrong. And besides, who cares about spelling where there’s so much lace to stare at!

As you can see in the photo above, the lingerie comes in three different colors: black, pink, and white. Sadly, if you want to actually buy some, you’ll have to wait a while. Both the Camp Fire crowdfunding page and their web store are sold out.

Not only is everything sold out, but there’s also no mention of when they’ll be taking more orders. We suppose it might be a while since everything is apparently hand-made, but we have a feeling Narumi Lian and her brand wouldn’t want to miss a business opportunity like this, so we’d recommend keeping an eye on her Twitter account and the Parfaite website so you’ll know when they are ready to sell more.

In the meantime, you can still support the crowdfunding campaign and get Parfaite photos! However, Camp Fire is not accepting overseas backers at this time, so if you really want to get in on this and you’re not in Japan, you’ll have to find a Japanese credit card or get someone to pay at a convenience store for you. And you’ll need a reshipping service too if you’re getting a physical item.

If you still need help with your love life, you can always get some Love Kitsune noodles!
