And now Insta-famous model Steph Claire Smith has taken over from former Australia’s Next Top Model winner Tahnee Atkinson as the new model for Australian lingerie brand Intimo.
The 21-year-old Instagram star boasts over 840,000 followers – a following that no doubt contributed to her landing the Autumn/Winter contract with the leading brand.

Intimo is known for choosing models with natural curves to represent their brand which is all about fitting all shapes, sizes and styles and inspiring female confidence.
‘Intimo is passionate about helping women establish a positive body image, and Steph is a healthy, happy role model for women all over the world,’ an Intimo spokesperson told Daily Mail Australia.

Speaking to All My Friends Are Models recently, Ms Smith said her social media stardom had changed her life.

‘It’s awesome,’ she said, ‘I’ve never wanted to be famous or world known to the point where I have paparazzi and stuff, but having young girls come up to me expressing to me how much of an inspiration I am and asking for a photo seriously makes my day,’ she said.
Ms Smith has hinted at her new role on Instagram, with a selection of racy lingerie snaps.
‘Shooting again for @loveintimo again today,’ the blonde beauty wrote on Saturday alongside a close-up of herself in a simple black bra.

‘Working with @loveintimo today,’ she added alongside another post of herself with smokey eyes and a racy mauve bra.
The Melbourne-raised model shot to fame on social media after aspiring to be a model throughout her childhood.
‘People told me it was a dead end job, that it won’t last long at all, that it will get me nowhere, that I must be so vain to want to do that,’ Ms Smith wrote on her website.

‘I then fell in love with the lifestyle’: Ms Smith says she regrets nothing and loves being able to travel and model
‘But after all the amazing experiences I’ve had with travel and meeting people in my career, I really do not regret starting it at all.’
‘I finished high school and got straight into modelling. I was lucky to be signed with Chadwicks and picked up a number of regular clients that kept me busy. I then fell in love with the lifestyle.’
Intimo’s AW16 campaign marks the beginning of the brands move from direct selling to becoming retail based company in early 2016.
