Risque lingerie brand Agent Provocateur has looked to sex symbols of the past to inspire its new range of vampy underwear made with cut-outs, suspender belts and glamorous corsetry.
The designers looked to screen siren Sophia Loren, Eighties icon Kim Basinger as well as supermodels Cindy Crawford and Lara Stone when they created the racy pieces.
The underwear giant has studied legendary German-Australian fashion photographer Helmut Newton for ideas and has taken his ‘unashamedly and unabashedly’ spirit of focusing on ‘powerful, sensual women’.
Lingerie giant Agent Provocateur have looked to iconic famous women through the ages for inspiration for their AW15 range
The high-end label, which counts Naomi Campbell and Kate Moss as fans, wanted to focus on ’naturally sexy women’ who have each embodied their eras and embodied womanhood in their own ‘unique ways’ for their latest range.
Italian film actress Sophia Loren has been heralded by the brand for her ‘intoxicating mix of feline eyes and logic-defying curves’.

The Vera corset is their homage to the movie star’s golden era and the brand recommends that fashionistas layer the bodice, which comes complete with ribbon lacing and eyelet detailing, underneath the brand’s pearl-trimmed, floor-sweeping Francis gown for ultimate film heroine glamour.
Agent Provocateur has also created a 1950′s bodysuit called Nicolle in Loren’s honour, which they can imagine she may have poured her ‘glorious proportions into’.

The Willa, a frothy-but-feisty set in midnight blue lace and chiffon with a retro teddy, has been inspired by Kim Basinger
Fast-forward to the 1980s and the lingerie giant has applauded hit film star Kim Basinger for her ‘sensuous and feminine aesthetic’.
The Willa, a frothy-but-feisty set in midnight blue lace and chiffon with a retro teddy, has been inspired by the 9 1/2 Weeks actress.
The label has also created the Leisa set – a rich ochre colour with a delicate overlay of black Chantilly lace – in homage to the blonde-haired leading lady.

Agent Provocateur just released their AW 2015 line where the brand was inspired from screen sirens like Sophia Loren, Kim Basinger but from the looks of this model, it looks like they’re giving a shout out to one of their celeb fans: Rita Ora.
Rita Ora has been spotted several times in AP. You can put your abs on display and rock the this entire lingerie set named Leisa or just focus on that lace bra. What we love about AP is that it often does double duty: sexy on the inside and outside. Imagine having this bra peek out underneath a perfectly undone white blouse or just under a blazer. Wowzer this would be a look that would get the birds and the bees humming.
If the bra is out of your price range, don’t fret just yet, we got some less expensive options for you on our style carousel (below)!

In a nod to Nineties-inspired trends, the brand have created a micro-mini, zip-slashed dress called the Maxene
Supermodel Cindy Crawford has helped influence the brand’s AW15 line thanks to her ‘bodacious body’ and ‘enduring appeal’.
The Sonia – a Mugler-esque corset constructed of body-sculpting laminated silk panels with nip-tuck panels of sheer tulle - pays homage to the supermodel.
In a nod to Nineties-inspired trends, the brand have created a micro-mini, zip-slashed dress called the Maxene. For those who are more daring it is suggested that this bedwear could be worn as outerwear.
Those with model-like bodies like Cindy may rush to snap up high-octane push-up styles such as the Mollie, now re-imagined in fuchsia, and the midnight blue Stephanee, which comes with a waist-cinching waspie suspender for true hourglass power.

Finally, Agent Provocateur has looked to Bardot-like beauty Lara Stone to help inspire their collection.
Noughties supermodel Lara’s ‘uncompromising womanliness’ has influenced several of the season’s more contemporary ranges.
The streamlined shape of the Mona dress is a scene-stealer for any modern bombshell – in a rich navy duchesse silk trimmed with peach crystals, it features a dramatically low-cut back.
Meanwhile, the keyhole shape and criss-crossing oomph of the Robyn set is perfect to wear beneath, or the barely-there Callie with its tattoo-like embroidery which whispers of a softer sex appeal.
Today’s ultra-women are experts at having fun, and so the Sherrie playsuit – a starburst of stretch silver sequin strapping tied up with bows on the shoulder and the bottom, but with zero covering across the cleavage, is vampy and fun.
Some of the autumn/winter collection is available to shop online and in-store now with further items being released throughout the year.
