An Orange County man was sentenced to a year in jail for breaking into his neighbor’s home to steal her lingerie.
Investigators said Christopher Parrish admitted to sneaking in at night and said he did it at least 20 times.
When the girl continually noticed her lingerie missing, she set up a camera in her bedroom and one night caught her neighbor sneaking around her room and going through her clothing.

“I think he just had a crush on her,” neighbor Kim Crowl said.
Some of those who live along Ambergate Road told Channel 9′s Ryan Hughes that they are satisfied Parrish was sentenced to a year in jail, followed by five years of probation and that he will be required to undergo ongoing psychological treatment and evaluations.
“It’s good, and I hope he gets the mental help he needs,” Crowl said.
Parrish was arrested last fall after the girl gave the video to Orange County deputies.
According to court papers, Parrish admitted that he entered the home at least 20 times over the years by disengaging the locking mechanism on the back door.
Parrish used to live in a nearby home, but neighbors told Hughes that the family has moved.
WFTV legal analyst Bill Sheaffer said the mental health aspect of the sentence is important.
“This sentence is designed to rehabilitate and make sure this behavior does not continue to a more harmful level to both the defendant and society,” Sheaffer said.
Parrish was also ordered to pay the victim $600 and to stay away from her after he’s released.
The girl’s family did not want to comment on this story.
