The 50 Shades of Grey movie casting rumors continue with more talk about Emma Watson playing Anastasia Steele. But will the former witch really try to get in touch with her inner goddess while 
bewitching kinky billionaire Christian Grey?
According to New York Daily News, Emma is actually “in talks” for the role after producers Mike De Luca and Dana Brunetti singled her out as their favorite for the part.
Emma obviously doesn’t want to be seen as a geeky witch for the rest of her life, but she hasn’t shown much of an interest in taking on sexy roles post-Harry Potter. However, perhaps she’s ready to do something completely different after playing a teen criminal in Bling Ring and a misfit teen in The Perks of Being a Wallflower. Now that she’s 22, she might be ready to graduate from high school and move on to college. And no college student has it better than Anastasia Steele.
As far as being sexy goes, at least Emma does get a little racy in The Perks of Being a Wallflower by dancing in lingerie during a performance of The Rocky Horror Picture Show.
But keep in mind that the report that Emma Watson is in talks to star in 50 Shades of Grey could be nothing more than another casting rumor—so many different names have already popped up, and a script for the movie hasn’t even been written yet.
New York Daily News also mentioned that Mila Kunis, Kristen Stewart, and Elizabeth Olsen are other actresses up for playing Ana. However, Mila might be a bit too old for the role, and author E.L. James already said that she doesn’t want Kristen and Robert Pattinson to star in the movie. So if Elizabeth and Emma both want the role, then the other Olsen sister might be the biggest competition of the Harry Potter actress, especially since she has experience doing nude scenes and is currently starring in the sex-oriented movie Very Good Girls. In the movie, Elizabeth’s character decides that she’s ready to lose her virginity just like Ana did in 50 Shades (but probably without the whips and chains).
