Try Outs In St. Louis for Lingerie Football League

ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) -With the Lingerie Football League, more football with less clothing is coming to St. Louis. The team will hold tryouts next month. St. Louis joins Omaha in still choosing a name for the brand-new teams of tough ladies in lingerie.
The league, also known as the LFL, already has franchises across the country. St. Louis will join the Eastern Conference with the Tampa Breeze, Orlando Fantasy, Philadelphia Passion and Cleveland Crush.
The St. Charles’ Family Arena hosts the home games.

12 p.m. to 3 p.m.
Athletes should prepare for strength, speed and agility drills. They should also wear a sports bra, shorts, sneakers or cleats in case you end up on grass.
Women’s football is nothing new to the area. Since 2003, the St. Louis SLAM offered full-contact women’s matches as part of the Women’s Football Alliance Central Division. The SLAM are 2009 World Champions and 2010 Division Champions.
