Hollywood is revving up excitedly into the Halloween spirit… and Vanessa Hudgens will not be left trailing.
The 23-year-old California girl hit up the famous Trashy Lingerie store in West Hollywood to select a sexy outfit for the carnival of mayhem.

She was joined by her mother and sister Gina for the pilgrimage to the members only store on La Cienega Boulevard.
There she selected a sexy red pirate outfit, while her sister picked a Treasure Island inspired number in grey.
Their mother presided over the enterprise, no doubt ensuring the girls didn’t get outfits that were too racy.

Vanessa has several motion pictures due for release in 2012 and 2013.
In Gimme Shelter, co-starring Brendan Fraser and Rosario Dawson, Vanessa plays a pregnant teenager who seeks out her biological father after leaving her abusive mother’s home.
She will also join Mel Gibson, Jessica Alba, and Lady Gaga in the highly-anticipated Robert Rodriguez film Machete Kills, scheduled for July next year.

But Vanessa told E! that she’s keen to tread the boards again, too.
‘Honestly, I’m kind of missing musicals,’ she said. ‘I really am. I went and saw Wicked the other day on Broadway. I’m obsessed. It’s my home.’
But she added: ‘It’s a big commitment,’ she of starring in a Broadway show. ‘I love being a free bird, flying around as I please.’

$225 for a tacky Halloween outfit!? Do celebrities not shop around in the slightest, sure they sell that exact costume over here for about £40!!
