Rosie Huntington-Whiteley loves how “inherently sexy” leather is.
The British model often sets pulses racing in her ensembles both in front of and away from the camera, having posed for Victoria’s Secret and her own lingerie line with retailer Marks Spencer. She is known for her love of figure-hugging pants and always finds an excuse to wear them any time of day.
“Leather is always good for a night out, because it’s inherently sexy and rock ‘n’ roll. I live in leather pants! In the daytime, I wear them with oversized knits or a simple T- shirt, and then in the evening, I’ll dress them up with a silky top and a pair of sexy stilettos,” she told whowhatwear.com. “Paige and Anine Bing do great leather pants. I like plain skin-type styles, but also styles with embellishment, like studs and zippers. Leather skirts are a must-have piece, too. Short leather skirts are great for dancing the night away, while a pencil style is demure, yet still incredibly sexy.”
Another vital part of her outfit during a night out is a clutch bag. Rosie will go for a bold design by Edie Parker in the evening as she can fit a compact mirror, her phone, keys, cards, powder and lipstick all in the petite carrier.
Choosing a final look for a night on the town sometimes proves a “challenge” for Rosie because she desires a fun yet elegant finish.
“I love to dress a bit more rock ‘n’ roll for a night out dancing. During the winter months, I’ll stick to darker colours and pile on jewellery and accessories and punch up my make-up,” she explained. “I’ve found the key is investing in pieces you can wear over and over again and that can transition you from day to night.”
