He is a hardened hitman used to keeping calm under pressure.

But that does not stop Colin Farrell’s character Victor getting a little hot under the collar when he spies his naughty neighbour Noomi Rapace stripping down to her smalls in a new Dead Man Down trailer.

The pair strike up an uneasy alliance when she blackmails him into carrying out a hit for her after she films him carrying out an assassination.

Unfortunately for him, she wants him to kill crime boss Alphonse Hoyt, who is played by silver screen bad boy Terrance Howard.

To make matters even more complicated, this just happens to be his boss.

And while this is a task that lands him in plenty of trouble, he gets some compensation when he gets to see Swedish star Noomi’s character Beatrice strip off.

She wants revenge on Hoyt as the violent mobster left her face scarred after brutally maiming her in a previous encounter.

The film marks the Hollywood début of Niels Arden Oplev, who directed the original, and most say superior, Swedish version of The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo.

And it appears he likes to work with his favourites, as Noomi shot to fame playing surveillance agent Lisbeth Salander in the 2009 version, which made $109m off a $14m budget.

But his forthcoming effort, which is released on March 8, certainly has more Hollywood gloss than his previous efforts thanks to co-editor Frédéric Thoraval and director of photography Paul Cameron, who worked on the likes of Collateral and Total Recall.
