Compiled from officers of the Santa Clara County Sheriff’s Department’s Westside Substation.

Found property–Oct. 7, 12:27 a.m. Holly Oak Drive. An iPod was found on the sidewalk and was taken to the West Valley Substation evidence room.

Vehicle burglary–Oct. 5, 9:50 p.m. N. Wolfe Road. Someone smashed the passenger’s side window of a 2012 Nissan Versa in the Cupertino Village parking lot. An iPad, camera lenses and a Kenneth Cole handbag were stolen from the interior. Items are valued at roughly $1,300 total.

Bicycle theft–Oct. 5, 9 p.m. Alves Drive. A $200 Fuji 12-speed bicycle was stolen. An unknown suspect cut the bike’s cable lock, which was secured near the YMCA.

Shoplifting–Oct. 5, 8 p.m. N. Wolfe Road. An unknown person entered a lingerie store at Vallco Shopping Mall and, within seconds, stole 10 bottles of perfume valued at $692 total. The person was not apprehended.
