John and Arlene Sawchuck attend their son Murray Sawchuck’s show at The Laugh Factory in the Tropicana on Friday, Dec. 21, 2012. Murray’s wife Chloe and co-star Doug “Lefty” Leferovich, right, also are pictured here.

The team names will remain the same, so our Las Vegas Sin is safe. But the Las Vegas-headquartered Lingerie Football League is undergoing a major rebranding next week. There will be a new name, a new logo and new uniforms and game-equipment modification as a result of a new broadcast affiliation with NBC Sports.

Meantime, our Sin is in boot camp prepping for the 2013 summer season. LFL is starting its fourth season in the United States and prepares to further brand the sport globally with a focus on athletics and athletes.

“This is the next step as we have now reached a crossroad of gaining credibility as a sport rather than being viewed as a gimmick. As we expand globally, we feel the focus has to be the sport and our amazing athletes,” LFL founder Mitch Mortaza said.

ONE-NIGHT CIRQUE SHUT-DOWN: For one night only, the “O” theater at the Bellagio will be transformed, and, on the same day, all Cirque du Soleil shows on the Strip will be shuttered.

It’s all for “One Night for One Drop” on March 22 when the casts of all of founder Guy Laliberte’s shows join for a performance of a new show created to support his global freshwater foundation.

WICKED WHISPERS AND RACY RUMORS

Is Olympic champion hunk Ryan Lochte part of a beach club being announced at Hooters casino hotel?

Dave Navarro and Roger Daltrey will be teachers Jan. 25 at MGM Grand for the Rock ’n’ Roll Fantasy Camp from Jan. 23-27.

Guitar guru Domenick Allen of Foreigner fame is commuting from here to London as his gorgeous leggy wife Leigh Zimmerman stars in “A Chorus Line” at London’s Palladium.

NEW YEAR’S GIFT: Start 2013 right with a free gift. Las Vegas duo vocalist Alicia Peron and guitarist Victor James (The Fans of Jimmy Century) are offering a download of their new EDM single “Santa Jamaica” at FansofJimmyCentury.com.

Their hit “Hot Sahara” was featured in four movies last year, including Justin Timberlake and Cameron Diaz’s “Bad Teacher” and Owen Wilson’s “Hall Pass.” I hear they are in pre-production on a secret agent escapade musical paying tribute to Wayne Newton due to shoot in March.

Alicia and Victor, who have opened for Lady Gaga, Shiny Toy Guns and Cyndi Lauper, also have had their music featured on “Gossip Girl,” “Ugly Betty” and “Melrose Place.”

LAS VEGAS TO UTAH: The Sundance Film Festival from Jan. 17-21 in Park City, Utah, is going to look a lot like Las Vegas. Four of Steve Wynn’s nightclubs are opening pop-up venues in the ski city for the stars: Encore Beach Club, Surrender, Tryst and XS will transform Park City Live during screenings, premieres and parties.

MURRAY’S MIRACLE: It was a milestone show for magician Murray Sawchuck at Tropicana when his mother and father finally saw him perform here. Quite a change from when young Murray performed at birthday parties in Vancouver. When Murray had his red carpet opening in May, his parents were going to travel to see his premiere at The Laugh Factory, but the day before, his father John suffered a stroke.

“It was a blessing in disguise that it happened before they got on the plane so still there in Canada he got immediate care,” Murray told me. “After 44 days in the hospital and seven stints in his heart, he was strong enough to fly here for the holidays. He is stronger than ever, and this was the first time Dad got to see my show at the Tropicana.” John traveled with his wife, Arlene; they’ve been married 51 years.

Murray, who appeared on today’s “Home Family” on The Hallmark Channel and taught six tricks to hosts Christina Ferrare and Mark Steines, added, “To walk onstage and see my Dad alive and well was enough. But to see him sitting in the front row of my own show on the Strip with my mom is priceless.” John also missed his son’s wedding to stage assistant and “Fantasy” at the Luxor dancer Chloe because of the stroke, so the couple will redo their wedding photos this week to include John.

MODEL FACE: Ex-Las Vegas model Brittany Mason, who was spotted by agents while here, moved onto New York and L.A. assignments and has now landed on Oxygen’s “The Face” debuting in February with photographer and “America’s Next Top Model” judge Nigel Barker, who was in town last month as a judge of the 2012 Miss Universe Pageant.

Beautiful Brittany is one of 24 models aiming to be Ulta Beauty’s spokeswoman, but she can’t say until the premiere if she’s on Team Naomi Campbell, Karolina Kurkova or Coco Rocha.

TOMORROW’S TEASE
