Eva Longoria looks sexy in lingerie. If it ever slipped your mind, you might want to check the most recent issue of GQ Mexico.

The “desperate housewife” turned sex symbol had a busy year–campaigning for President Barack Obama, pursuing a Masters in Chicano Studies, and opening her own foundation–but the 37-year-old actress took some time to remind fans why she’s the only woman to have been ranked No. 1 twice in Maxim magazine’s Hot 100.

With puckered lips, tousled wavy hair, and silky white lingerie, Longoria covers GQ Mexico’s December issue. The Mexican-American actress’ sensual pose is paired with the headline “Eva Longoria (evidently) is not desperate.”

Despite striking seductive poses during the GQ Mexico photoshoot (watch a video of the shoot above), during the interview with the magazine, Longoria admits that beauty in her opinion is not only skin deep.

“I hope that people think I’m beautiful for all the work I do concerning charity and philanthropy, or political activism,” the actress told GQ Mexico. “For me, these are the things that define beauty. Beauty lies, mainly, in someone’s personality, not on their skin.”
