Video: Lingerie model missing in Colorado Springs

KUSA – It’s been a month since anyone has seen a young Colorado model.

Kara Nichols, 19, was on her way to Denver on Oct. 9 but never made it to work.

The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office is seeking two unidentified women they believe might help the investigation.

Officials showed pictures of the two women during a press conference Tuesday. Officials say neither women are considered suspects.

“We have been unable to get any kind of ideas who this female is. [Nichols] associated with [the unidentified women] on Oct. 9. We believe both of them are in – or from – this community,” El Paso County Sheriff Terry Maketa said.

Maketa said he is “concerned” about the well being of Nichols.

“We all know somebody out there knows something,” Sheriff Maketa said.

Up until her disappearance, Nichols was in constant contact with family and friends.

Nichols’ parents are pleading with the public to come forward with any information to the possible whereabouts of their daughter.

“To see that she’s missing now is just a crushing blow,” father of the missing teen Paul Nichols said. “I really appeal to the community.”

Kara Nichols is 5 feet 8 inches tall, weighs 120 pounds with blonde hair and green eyes.

Anyone with information is asked to call Detective Cliff Porter at 719-520-7227.
