Lara Bingle to launch lingerie line

Lara Bingle will launch her own fashion label.

Bingle is in the early stages of developing her own lingerie line, the Australian model confirmed on Sunday.

The 25-year-old has told Fairfax she is in talks with a big retailer with a view to launching next year.

“My goal is to create a luxurious, affordable collection that empowers women and makes them feel sexy in their lingerie,” Bingle told The Sun-Herald.

The decision comes after Bingle approached brand master George Moskos this year about creating her own business.

Moskos is known for his skill of matching up high profile personalities of the beauty and fashion worlds with their passion projects, developing beloved brands for the celebrities – and their fans.

He is the co-founder of Miranda Kerr’s Kora Organics skin range and helped US TV personality Whitney Port launch her Whitney Eve fashion line in Australia.

“Lara has always had a love for fashion, she has a huge fan base and is well recognised for her sense of style,” Moskos told the newspaper.

“She is passionate about putting her name to something she truly believes in and has been very hands on,” he said.
